* About the reception:
Please read carefully all the following information!

Remember that different events in DE will take place in different locations.
Even if Florence is a compact city and most places are at walking distance we recommend to have a look to the DE13 website (http://www.doceng2013.org/venue) and figure out where different events will be organized.

This is especially important for Tuesday 10th.
The Workshops will be organized at the Engineering School where the registration desk will open at 8.30
(workshops begin at 9.30). You will need to visit the registration desk to pick up your conference materials
including the ticket for the Reception and you can do this also if you don't plan to attend the workshops.

If you cannot visit the registration desk on Tuesday, in order to join us in the guided tours of the exhibition
"Il Rinascimento torna a casa" you need to be at Villa Bardini (Costa S. Giorgio 2) at 18.00 and you need to write
us
one email (doceng2013@doceng2013.org) so that we can count you!
Rooms in the exibition are small and we need to carefully organize the tour!

Also if you would like to buy extra tickets for the reception and/or the banquet please write us.

If you cannot attend the tours we'll be happy to join you at the reception that will begin at 20.00, but please let us know,
because we have to look for you at the entrance.

One final comment on how to reach Villa Bardini. From Ponte Vecchio it is a short walk (10-15 minutes).
However, please be advised that it is a steep slope and therefore take your time (and energies!).
If you believe this might be a problem for you, please do not hesitate to write us. We'll do our best to help you.

If you will attend the workshops there will be reserved buses that will bring you from the workshops to the reception.

In the reception we'll enjoy various and quite rich apetizers for every taste as well as various drinks.

The reception will end around 22.00 when the buses can bring some of us in the center
(even if, depending on where you go, walking might be easier and faster!)

Should you have any additional question, please don't hesitate to ask us (doceng2013@doceng2013.org).
